WSG today launched JPMangione.com, a redesign of the digital home for Joseph P. Mangione, Inc.
Their owner and project lead, Gary Mangione, was a joy. He handled content creation duties on the project, somehow finding time to keep the business running and pump out pages and pages of new copy. We thank you Gary!
The new site features:
New information architecture
Light social integration
Multiple, simple calls to action
We thank everyone at JP Mangione for making WSG their firm of choice, and we look forward to continued growth, both for their site and business.
The Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities, a long-standing WSG client, this week launched a new site – SolutionsforNY.org. The site is the digital home of cIcu’s Campus Community Partners outreach effort.
Campus Community Partners is an initiative that highlights the brainpower, partnerships and resources that New York’s 100+ independent colleges and universities bring to residents and communities throughout New York State.
The site was built on the Drupal content management system, and includes a custom design. We congratulate cIcu on the new site and we look forward to seeing it grow.
The people and the stuff has started arriving at our new offices at 21 Congress Street in Saratoga Springs, NY!
We’re doing our best to avoid service disruptions today, and the phones are working.
We’re on the second floor at 4 Congress Park Centre, which is marked in red in the photo here.
We’ll have pictures and a video tour of the new space up when our chairs get here!
We at WSG are proud to congratulate three of our valued clients who were honored by Metroland Newsweekly as Best of the Capital Region for 2010.
Grappa 72 was honored as the “Best New Restaurant.” (WSG was equally honored to create Grappa72.com.)
“Armand and Tia Lule have subtly transformed the old Carmine’s Restaurant in both ambiance and menu, combining the best qualities of traditional Italian and modern elegance. Fresh ingredients like house-cured salmon and crisp greens sparkle, and the wine list begs you to forego the usual California cab for an adventure in zestful Italians.” (Source)
Mark Thomas Men’s Apparel was honored as “Best Men’s Clothing” store. (WSG was equally honored to create MarkThomasMensApparel.com.)
“Mark Goldfarb and Tom Fagan know how to do men’s clothes right. From the minute you walk through the door you feel like your in a an old-world environment that harks back to days of the classic haberdasheries. They carry quality lines such as Pal Zileri, Corneliani and Jack Victor, as well as an amazing collection of sportier clothing, shoes and accessories. Whether you’re just starting your career, running a top law firm or coaching basketball, Mark Thomas will have you looking like a millionaire.” (Source)
Fred Dicker of Talk 1300 AM was honored for hosting the “Best Political Radio Show.” (WSG was equally honored to create Talk1300.com.)
“New York Post state political editor Fred Dicker’s show is a perennial winner. He breaks news, gets interesting (and powerful) guests, and lets the listener know where’s he’s coming from. And his “music Friday” segment, where he plays everything from 1940s pro-Stalinist ditties to 1910s anti-immigrant tunes, is a hoot.” (Source)
We are proud to work with these three clients, and we wish them nothing but continued success.
WSG is pleased to launch SteppingStonesII.com, a brand new site. Stepping Stones is a child day care center located in Troy, NY. As their site states:
Stepping Stones II Early Learning Center offers childcare services for children ages six weeks to five years — providing a warm, relaxed, “extended family” atmosphere — a home away from home. Reasonably priced with breakfast, lunch and snacks included and conveniently located off I-90 in North Greenbush.
The site is based on a custom design – including a custom logo – and is running on WSG’s own Content Management Tool. The staff at Stepping Stones wanted to use the site to communicate with parents and find new families through the web. Center Director Christy LaBarge has already been doing a good job of watching for and answering user-generated content related to the center online, most notably this thread on the TimesUnion.com entitled “Daycare help!” Good job Christy!
